A drain that blocks twice in a month is not always a drain that needs replacing. Equally, repeated unblocking is not a sensible long-term answer when pipework has collapsed, shifted or been badly damaged by roots. The decision to repair or replace drains should be based on what is happening below ground, not on guesswork or the quickest apparent fix.
