West Midlands Drainage is a trading name. Our registered address is Cannock Rd, Featherstone, Wolverhampton, WV10 7AG. You can contact us by telephone on 07453 419 988 or by email at westmidlandsdrainage@gmail.com.
We provide professional drainage services across the West Midlands, including but not limited to:
The specific scope of work for each job will be agreed with you before work begins, either verbally or in writing.
Where possible, we will provide a fixed-price quotation before starting work. For emergency callouts or jobs where the full scope cannot be determined until on-site, we will explain the likely costs before proceeding.
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. If additional work is required beyond the original scope, we will inform you and agree any additional costs before carrying out that work.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer, card, or cash.
For larger projects, we may require a deposit before work commences. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be confirmed in the quotation.
If payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice date, we reserve the right to charge interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate on any outstanding balance, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please give us as much notice as possible. We understand that circumstances change and will always try to accommodate changes.
If you cancel a scheduled appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee may apply to cover the cost of the reserved time slot. We will advise you of any applicable fee at the time of cancellation.
Emergency callouts that are cancelled after the engineer has been dispatched may be subject to a call-out charge.
You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the drainage system and the areas where work is to be carried out. This includes ensuring manholes and access points are accessible and that any pets or hazards are secured.
If our engineer arrives on-site and is unable to carry out the work due to access issues or unsafe conditions not previously disclosed, a call-out charge may apply.
Where work requires access to shared or third-party land, it is your responsibility to obtain any necessary permissions before the appointment.
We stand behind the quality of our work. The following guarantees apply:
Guarantees do not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party interference, ground movement, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will carry out all work with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards. We are fully insured for public liability.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the services provided shall not exceed the value of the contract for that specific job, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for which liability is not limited.
We are not liable for any pre-existing defects in your drainage system that are discovered during the course of our work, nor for any damage to pipes or structures that were already in a deteriorated condition.
By using our services, you confirm that:
